Marigold House provides shelter for rescued girls. The social stigma associated with trafficking and abuse makes it hard for girls to return to their families. We provide a safe environment where girls can start to process and heal from their traumatic experiences.
We support younger girls back into school, and help the older girls to learn craft skills so that they can earn an independent income. We also support survivors legally, should they wish to press charges against the perpetrators. We call our shelter Marigold House because Marigolds open in the warmth of the sun - like we hope these rescued girls will blossom when they are finally safe.
